Overview

CBW Staffing Solutions is a leading provider of building services solutions. We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team based in Oxford.

Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist the maintenance team in carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance. The successful candidate will be required to provide non-technical support, perform routine fabric maintenance, address reactive tasks, and undertake various DIY tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance to the site team and daywork team in handling daily reactive help desk tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance activities to meet and exceed service level agreements.
  • Address and complete all reactive tasks logged to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Undertake painting, decorating, and DIY tasks to maintain an attractive environment.
  • Assist the engineering team with planned and reactive engineering activities.

Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance desirable.
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks.
