Head of Maintenance

About the Role
The successful candidate for this position will oversee the maintenance of a care home in Banbury, ensuring that the environment is clean and well-maintained. This will enable residents to feel at home, and staff to perform their duties effectively.

This role involves a variety of tasks, including property maintenance, gardening, and grounds work. You should be comfortable working independently, leading a team, and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. Additionally, you will liaise with external contractors for jobs that require specialized expertise.

About You
Your primary concern as a Head of Maintenance will be the wellbeing of our residents. With hands-on experience in property maintenance, you will possess at least one trade skill and be able to undertake a range of maintenance tasks. Flexibility with your working hours is also essential. A full UK driving license, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) are also required.
