Maintenance Assistant

Pembroke College is seeking a skilled and diligent individual to fill the role of Maintenance Assistant. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop practical skills while contributing to the upkeep and improvement of our historic college environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various maintenance tasks promptly and to a high standard, working collaboratively with other maintenance team members.
- Set up rooms and venues for conferences and other events, maintain the quads, and care for the boathouse and sports pavilion.
- Support the delivery of the planned preventative maintenance program and small works projects.
- Learn health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with established standards.
This role is an integral part of our Maintenance Team, responsible for carrying out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the upkeep and improvement of our college infrastructure, ensuring that all maintenance activities meet high standards of quality and safety.
Salary: £26,000 per annum (including lunch and discounted travel pass)
Location: Pembroke College and other College sites in Oxford
Reporting to: Maintenance Supervisor
