Business Development Director - Hedge Fund Administration

SS&C GlobeOp is a leading provider of investment, financial services, and software for the financial services and healthcare industries. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team in the Hedge Fund Administration division.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and winning new business opportunities in the hedge fund, managed account, and fund of hedge fund administration space. This will involve developing a strong pipeline of potential clients, building relationships with key influencers in the industry, and leading commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong pipeline of potential clients in the hedge fund, managed account, and fund of hedge fund space
  • Identify and win new business opportunities in EMEA (UK and Mainland Europe focused)
  • Take ownership of the sales process and lead commercial negotiations
  • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers in the industry
  • Participate in industry events and thought leadership initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven track record of building a significant pipeline of new business in the hedge fund arena
  • Strong sales experience and exposure to fund administration
  • Confident and successful salesperson with a passion for open-ended fund structures, market trends, and regulations
