Animal Welfare Director

At Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, we are seeking an experienced Animal Welfare Director to join our Senior Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of animal care and welfare across our organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing animal welfare strategies to ensure the well-being of all animals in our care
  • Leading a team of animal care professionals to deliver exceptional animal welfare standards
  • Collaborating with our veterinary team to provide high-quality veterinary care and services
  • Ensuring the effective rehoming and surrender of animals, in accordance with our policies and procedures
  • Developing and maintaining our animal welfare standards and policies
  • Working closely with our facilities team to develop and implement new facilities for animals

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about animal welfare and has a strong track record of delivering high-quality animal care and welfare services. If you have a proven ability to lead and manage a team, develop and implement animal welfare strategies, and work collaboratively with others, we would love to hear from you.
