We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching staff to develop and provide quality learning for pupils with special education needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the lead teacher in enabling each pupil to access their curriculum.
  • Engage with playground activities to promote social interaction and inclusion.
  • Support and encourage the development of pupils' education, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social welfare.
  • Keep accurate records and attend review meetings to ensure effective communication with parents and guardians.
  • Provide 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 support to pupils, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience working with SEN pupils and a strong understanding of their needs.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
  • Patience, resilience, and sensitivity when working with pupils who require additional support.
  • Able to commute/relocate to West Drayton.
