Radisson RED Glasgow Bar Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team at Radisson RED Glasgow. As a Bar Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of our banqueting department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the smooth running of the banquets department, ensuring all aspects of the guest conference and banqueting service experience are delivered to the highest levels.
  • Work proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.
  • Deliver on plans and objectives, achieving banqueting initiatives and hotel targets.
  • Supervise the banqueting team, fostering a culture of growth, development, and performance within the department.
  • Accountable for ensuring costs and inventory are controlled, productivity and performance levels are attained.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Establish and deliver effective programmes that advance service standards, profitability, and cost control.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation, performing due diligence requirements and best practice activities for internal and external audit.
Requirements:
  • Experience in banquets.
  • Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to find creative solutions with proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy.
  • Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms.
  • Strong communication skills.
