Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the smooth running of the banquets department, ensuring all aspects of the guest conference and banqueting service are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, responding promptly to guest enquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Take ownership of duties and tasks assigned, ensuring all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
  • Deliver on departmental plans and objectives, achieving hotel initiatives and targets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to control costs and inventory, maintain productivity and performance levels, and promote the company culture and values.
  • Ensure adherence to all legislation, maintaining due diligence requirements and best practice activities for internal and external audit.

Requirements:

  • Experience in banquets is beneficial but not essential.
  • A hands-on approach with a can-do work style.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • The ability to find creative solutions, take ownership of duties and tasks assigned, and work in an environment that demands excellence.
  • Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms.
  • Strong communication skills.
