As an SEN Teaching and Care Specialist with Term Time Teachers Ltd, you will be working in local SEN schools, supporting children with designated Education Health Care Plans. You will have the opportunity to gain a breadth of experience with children of varying ages and abilities, using a wide range of teaching strategies and interventions to encourage positive outcomes and student development.

The role involves providing teaching and support to our pupils, following individualised curriculums, and assisting with break time duties including playground support and snack time. You will also provide behaviourally based support to reduce behaviours that impact quality of life, and assist with personal care, encouraging pupils to maintain acceptable levels of hygiene.

We require an individual with professional, personal, or voluntary experience of working with children and disabilities, and a minimum Grade C/4 GCSE in English Language & Maths or equivalent. You must also be comfortable working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour and supporting others with personal/intimate care where required. Our salary package includes £25,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience.
