Key Responsibilities:

As a Facilities Assistant at the University for the Creative Arts, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our Epsom campus. Your duties will include opening and locking premises, ensuring security and fire prevention measures are in place, managing goods in and out, performing basic maintenance tasks, and providing support to the University and its departments.

Working Arrangements:

You will work as part of a team on a regular shift pattern, including morning and afternoon shifts, as well as participating in emergency and out-of-hours on-call duties on a rota basis. A paid out-of-hours allowance will be provided.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need good interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively interact with staff, students, and the public. You must also be able to work independently and be flexible in your approach to work. A good awareness of IT is essential, and you will be expected to become a trained first aid member of staff.
