We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Coordinator at Avery Healthcare. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, including plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, and equipment repairs.
- Emergency Response: Cover all emergencies relating to the fabric of the home or systems contained within the building.
- Contractor Management: Engage with approved contractors as and when required, and source alternative suppliers as needed.
- Team Leadership: Direct line management of the Maintenance Assistant, including day-to-day supervision, objective setting, and annual reviews.
To succeed in this role, you will possess a solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as an understanding of safety and fire safety systems.
You will be a responsible and accountable individual who can make informed decisions and act in the best interest of our residents.
