We are seeking a skilled energy market reporter to join our editorial team at LNRS Data Services Ltd Company, covering developments in crude oil. This is a 12-month maternity cover position with the potential to become permanent.
Supported by our editorial and analyst teams, you will break news, assess prices, and produce analytical content. You will thrive on writing exclusive news and explaining what this means for our readers.
**Responsibilities**
- Cover a portfolio of global crude markets
- Collaborate closely with other business functions at LNRS Data Services Ltd Company and contribute ideas related to new coverage and services
- Write insightful, compelling news and market analysis and assess prices
- Build and nurture an international network of industry contacts
- Report on complex topics in an engaging and timely manner, including the use of data visualizations
**Requirements**
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of markets and economics
- Display an inquisitive mind and a keen interest in markets and economics
- Demonstrate a high level of numerical accuracy
- Have excellent writing and communication skills
- Apply Price/commodities reporting experience or knowledge of energy markets would be an advantage but is not required
