About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Platform Manager to join our team at Howarth Timber Group. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for shaping the development strategy and testing programme to continuously optimise our company's website.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project manage website development delivery
* Lead contact for development agency, working with them to deliver the roadmap
* Continuously improving the website user journey through creative problem solving - identifying options and solutions
* UX journey investigations and evolving the customer journey
* Investigate ways to improve conversion rate optimisation and reduce cart abandonment
* Writing requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to brief into the development agency
* Bug and issue investigating
* Competitor analysis and supplier liaison
* Research new product opportunities for the website and loading onto our channels
Requirements:
* At least 3 years' experience working in an eCommerce environment
* Great telephone and customer service skills
* General office administration skills
* GCSE English and Maths plus three other subjects (Grade 4 or above)
* Great PC skills including Microsoft Office, in particular a good working knowledge of Excel
* Full UK Driving Licence
* A confident, enthusiastic, approachable, and motivated person with a proactive and 'can do' attitude
* Sense of responsibility and a willingness to challenge the status quo
* Strong attention to detail
* Enjoys problem solving as well as creative thinking
