Compassionate Community Care Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Queenscourt at Home team, providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Bank Contract position, with flexible hours available. The successful candidate will work independently, delivering patient care duties as outlined by the Queenscourt Co-ordinator.
The role requires experience in caring within the community, particularly in palliative care settings, and involves demonstrating empathy and communicating effectively about death and dying with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate empathy and communicate effectively about death and dying with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide a range of patient care duties, including support for patients and their families enabling them to remain at home at the end of life.
- Work collaboratively with the primary healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A car driver's license.
- Experience in caring for palliative care patients at end of life.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
