Connections Visits Whole Family Engagement Coordinator

In this role, you will be part of our Connections Team at HMP Millsike, working closely with prisoners, their families, and other stakeholders to create a supportive and inclusive environment. As a Connections Visits Whole Family Play Facilitator, you will be responsible for facilitating connections between children and their family members, creating a safe and engaging play environment that fosters positive interactions and mitigates emotional stress.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience working with children, particularly in stressful or unusual environments, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism. A positive problem-solving approach, flexibility, and NVQ Level 2 (childcare) certification are also essential requirements.
This role comes with a competitive salary of £22,000 per annum and a range of benefits, including training and development opportunities, flexible working, and access to wellbeing services.
