The role involves providing a safe and engaging play environment for children visiting their family members in prison, mitigating emotional stress and fostering positive interactions.
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Connections Visits Whole Family Play Facilitator. As a key member of our Connections Team, you will be responsible for delivering a core Connections service, including Connections Visits, Family and Relationship Services, and Health and Wellbeing and Substance Misuse Services.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience working with children, particularly in stressful or unusual environments, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism. A positive problem-solving approach, flexibility, and NVQ Level 2 (childcare) certification are also essential requirements.
This role comes with a competitive salary of £22,000 per annum and a range of benefits, including training and development opportunities, flexible working, and access to wellbeing services.
