Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Job Description:

Our client, a leading agriculture equipment supplier with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a skilled Area Sales Manager to join their team in the Dorset/Wilshire area. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing sales within an assigned geographical area, generating new leads, and dealing with the whole sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve sales performance targets by matching the right products/services to customers.
Travel to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
Utilise outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.
Ensure all CRM databases and customer information is kept up to date, in line with GDPR and other legislation.
Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain customer loyalty.
Expand industry knowledge by attending training workshops and reading professional publications.

Requirements:

Proven sales experience; Agricultural sales experience is advantageous.
Outstanding negotiation, consultative sales, and exceptional customer service skills.
