Global Process Lead - Financial Planning & Analysis

Join Serco's team of experts in driving a transformational roadmap for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). As a Global Process Lead, you will play a vital role in improving FP&A capabilities, focusing on automation, digital transformation, and data-driven insights.

About the Role

As a key member of the FP&A team, you will lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes. Your expertise in S/4 HANA implementation will be instrumental in revolutionising financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the liaison between our offshore BPO partner and the business, ensuring global process standardisation and delivery of key requirements.
  2. Lead the FP&A transformation roadmap, focusing on S/4 HANA implementation, driving automation, advanced analytics, and process improvements.
  3. Collaborate with business leaders to align FP&A processes with strategic objectives.
  4. Manage major FP&A improvement projects, with a strong focus on system upgrades, process optimisation, predictive analysis, and the transition to S/4 HANA.
  5. Research emerging FP&A trends and best practices to ensure Serco's financial planning processes remain ahead of the curve.
Requirements
  1. You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with demonstrable experience in leading finance transformation projects within a similar industry.
  2. Experience with S/4 HANA implementation is highly desirable, alongside digital transformation, advanced FP&A tools, and financial modelling.
  3. Excellent project management skills, including reporting and risk management in the context of large-scale transformation initiatives.
  4. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
