The Church of England is seeking a highly skilled Pension Administration Expert to join their team. This role will play a crucial part in the administration of pension schemes, ensuring that members receive accurate and timely information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and review the work of junior staff, providing guidance and support where needed.
  • Deal with complex enquiries and calculations, using expertise to provide solutions.
  • Assist with the general running of the Department, carrying out additional duties as required.
  • Provide cover for the pensions helpline and mailboxes, responding to member and employer queries.
  • Calculate benefits on leaving, retirement, death, and transfer out/divorce scenarios.
  • Produce statements of contributions and annual benefit statements for scheme members.
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of voluntary contribution arrangements and transfers between AVC schemes.
Requirements

This is a homeworking role, with occasional attendance at face-to-face meetings at Church House. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with experience in pension administration.

A market rate salary of £50,400, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary, is offered. We also match any pension contributions made up to an additional 3% of salary. Additional benefits include:
