We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mental Health Support Professional to join our team at Academics Ltd. This fulfilling role involves supporting children with complex needs, engaging students in learning, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or adults with special educational needs and be skilled at motivating and engaging students. They will also possess strong communication skills and be kind, caring, and empathetic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a small group of 8 students, supporting the teacher and preparing materials
- Create a vibrant, engaging learning space
- Support students with diverse needs, including autism, attention difficulties, learning challenges, mental health concerns, and physical disabilities
Position Details:
- Job Title: Mental Health Support Professional
- Location: Wokingham
- Estimated Salary: £83 - £95 per day
- Contract: Long-term temporary with potential for permanent placement
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
