Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. This is a unique chance for you to make a positive impact on the lives of children and contribute to their growth and well-being.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who struggle with mental health issues, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, and SEN. Your role will involve supporting these students in a Year 3 class and helping them develop essential skills for learning.
As a valued member of our team, you will be supported throughout your time with us. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that each student receives the attention they need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students' behaviour in the classroom
- Helping students understand teacher instructions
- Working one-on-one or in small groups with individual learners
- Recording and tracking student progress
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
