About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IFS Developer to join our implementation team, playing a vital role in shaping processes and having a significant business impact. The IFS Developer will contribute to the delivery of IFS solutions aligned with business needs, from requirements gathering and technical architecture to development, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the ERP Solution Architect to develop a prioritized backlog of change requests and solutions in IFS to meet business requirements.
  • Review existing technical processes in IFS and propose improvements.
  • Perform 'business as usual' tasks (maintenance and monitoring, data management, user support) alongside project work.
  • Hold project delivery responsibilities by working to specific project plans and deadlines; escalating issues, risks, and concerns in a timely manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc degree related to Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of IFS Cloud experience and a strong technical knowledge of IFS Cloud and associated infrastructure.
  • Data migration and integration experience (e.g., IFS Connect).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in expressing complex technical concepts effectively.
Desirable Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Certifications in SQL, PL/SQL programming, and Oracle Database.
  • 5+ years of IFS experience.
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing organization.
  • Experience of working within a multinational business.
