Our ERP Implementation Journey

We have recently implemented IFS as our ERP system, and we are seeking an experienced IFS Developer to join our implementation team. This is a critical phase in our ERP implementation, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping processes and having a significant business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of IFS solutions aligned with business needs, from requirements gathering and technical architecture to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with the ERP Solution Architect to develop a prioritized backlog of change requests and solutions in IFS to meet business requirements.
  • Review existing technical processes in IFS and propose improvements.
  • Perform 'business as usual' tasks (maintenance and monitoring, data management, user support) alongside project work.
  • Hold project delivery responsibilities by working to specific project plans and deadlines; escalating issues, risks, and concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements

Essential:

  • BSc degree related to Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years IFS Cloud experience and a strong technical knowledge of IFS Cloud and associated infrastructure.
  • Data migration and integration experience (e.g. IFS Connect).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in expressing complex technical concepts effectively.

Desirable:

  • Certifications in SQL, PL/SQL programming, and Oracle Database will be advantageous.
  • 5+ years IFS experience.
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing organization.
  • Experience of working within a multinational business.
