Key Responsibilities

As a Theatre Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Moving scenery and equipment during productions, utilizing knowledge of lighting, sound, and special effects
  • Providing support with flying, follow spotting, lighting, and sound operation, as well as maintaining wardrobes and ensuring their condition
  • Maintaining Health and Safety and Fire Safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment
  • Participating in 'get ins' and 'get outs' with all technical aspects of the productions, including lighting, sound, and rigging
  • Collaborating with visiting producers and artists to foster strong relationships and provide excellent customer service
  • Supporting the preparation and execution of shows and events

This role requires a passion for theatre/live entertainment and a keen eye for detail. You should also possess great communication skills, be able to work effectively under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in fast-paced environments.

Salary: £11.44 per hour
