Trafalgar Entertainment Group Limited is a leading regional theatre in the UK, known for its eclectic and top-tier productions. As a vibrant cultural hub, we strive to deliver exceptional experiences for our audiences.

We are seeking an experienced Theatre Technician to join our team, providing technical support for all aspects of our productions. This includes setting up and operating lighting, sound, wardrobe, and stagecraft, ensuring smooth and safe performances. The successful candidate will also assist with maintenance tasks and collaborate with visiting producers and artists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Moving scenery and equipment during productions, working with lighting, sound, and special effects.
  • Operating flying, follow spotting, lighting, and sound systems as required.
  • Maintaining Health and Safety and Fire Safety procedures.
  • Supporting with "get ins" and "get outs" across all production areas.
  • Collaborating with visiting producers and artists to promote excellent customer relations.

About You

  • A passion for theatre/live entertainment.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • An eye for detail and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Strong team spirit and ability to work safely at heights using ladders, tallescopes, and from lighting bridges.

Salary Range: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
