Are you passionate about supporting students with complex needs?

We are seeking a qualified Academic Support Assistant to join our team in a SEMH School in Bedford.

Job Summary:

The Academic Support Assistant will provide individualized support to students in the classroom, helping them to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers and fellow support workers on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis in the classroom.
  • Assist with outdoor activities and access to local facilities, such as swimming pools.

The salary for this role is ,500 per year, based on qualifications and location.

This is a temporary position, but there may be opportunities to convert to a permanent contract later.

Taught Personnel requires valid enhanced DBS checks for all registered candidates.

As an Academic Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience working with students with complex needs.
