As a Macroeconomic Expert at William Scott Associates, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality macro-economic analysis to our client's audit team.

This includes assessing and developing economic scenarios for IFRS9 purposes, stress testing regulatory exercises using macroeconomic and econometric models, enhancing and developing in-house econometric models (statistical, structural economic models), and producing thought leadership highlighting key trends and risks at sector and business level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating economic scenarios for IFRS9 compliance
  • Conducting stress tests on regulatory exercises
  • Developing and refining econometric models for accurate forecasting
  • Creating insightful thought leadership pieces on market trends and risks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in macroeconomics at a professional services company, Central Bank, or Think Tank
  • Familiarity with primary sources of global and UK macroeconomic data sources and providers
