Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site (5 Days a Week)
Salary: £47,500 per annum
About Us: Chapman Tate Associates is a dynamic and growing FMCG company seeking a talented IT Support Specialist to be an integral part of our IT department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Windows stack and networking, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 3rd line support for all IT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the Windows stack, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.
- Manage and support networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to design, implement, and maintain IT systems and infrastructure.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, contributing technical expertise and insight.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
- Document all technical procedures and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a 3rd line support role, preferably within an FMCG or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Strong expertise in the Windows stack, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.
- Solid understanding of networking principles and experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus but not essential.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
