Job Title: Support Worker for Complex Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to a young adult with complex needs.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work with an individual who requires 1:1 support due to their severe learning disability and autism. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care, supporting daily living skills, and engaging in activities that promote independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to the individual, promoting independence and self-advocacy
  • Assist with daily living skills, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Support the individual in engaging in activities that promote social interaction, communication, and emotional well-being
  • Collaborate with the individual's family and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care and support
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, particularly autism and learning disability
  • Ability to provide 1:1 support and promote independence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Current clean full UK driving licence
