About the Role

This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a Support Worker with experience working with clients with Autism or Aspergers and complex social needs to join a leading Local Charity Organisation based in the South West.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and support clients to develop independent living skills that will enable them to move from low-level support to independent living.
  • Facilitate access to services that meet client health, social, educational, and employment requirements, taking account of client aspirations and needs.
  • Ensure clients are accessing and managing the benefits that they are entitled to.
  • Focus on Health and Wellbeing.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Experience working with young adults with complex needs / Autism or Aspergers.
  • Ability to undertake assessment and planning for people with complex social needs.
  • Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with empathy and understanding of the needs of clients with complex needs.
