Teaching Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to work with vulnerable children, providing support and guidance on a 1:1 basis or within a small class of around 7 students with various needs including ADHD or Autism.

This is a full-time and potentially permanent position for a Teaching Assistant at a SEND Provision in Cheshire. The successful candidate will have recent experience working with children, either inside or outside of a classroom environment, and be able to close the gap in performance of all pupils with special educational needs or disabilities.

The salary for this role is £28 per hour, depending on experience, making it an excellent opportunity for those passionate about supporting young people with SEND.

About the Role

  1. Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
  2. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEND.
  3. Provide support and guidance to students with varying levels of need, promoting inclusion and equality in the learning environment.
