Repairs Surveyor

We are partnering with a reputable Housing Association to fill two permanent positions for Repairs Surveyors. The successful candidates will be able to interview and start within the coming weeks.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position based in Surrey and West London, with 1 day per week hybrid working. The salary for this role is up to £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect housing stock and building works, prepare specifications, and compile tender/contract documentation to deliver repairs and void works.
- Carry out pre and post inspections.
- Work with contractors to utilize the budget for maintenance effectively and project manage customer requests.
- Proactively communicate with customers, internal or external, in line with agreed processes.
- Provide technical support and advice to repair advisors and administrators.
- Progress, manage, and communicate to all internal and external customers in relation to complaints, MP enquiries, EHO compliant, and legal disrepairs.
- Work with the Administration Team to organize workloads and effectively manage communication.
- Experience of scheduling building/planned maintenance works and contract administration.
- Experience of communicating with service users, staff, and other agencies.
- Must have a formal qualification, e.g., HNC/HND/CIOB.
- Knowledge of housing maintenance, repair specifications, diagnosing defects, and remedial works.
- A strong knowledge of social housing management.
- Skills in housing/property management systems (Northgate or similar).
- Hybrid working.
- Flexible working days.
