Job Title: Trainee Property Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our Community Works Team as a Trainee Property Maintenance Operative. This is an exciting opportunity to develop new skills and contribute to the growth of our property maintenance service.

About the Role:

As a Trainee Property Maintenance Operative, you will work closely with our experienced team to learn a range of new skills and abilities, including plastering, brick laying, garden maintenance, plumbing, DIY, painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery. You will be based at our Right2Work premises in Kendal and will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of properties
  • Learn and develop new skills in areas such as plastering, brick laying, and carpentry
  • Work collaboratively with the Community Works Team to achieve project goals
  • Develop a strong understanding of health and safety procedures
Requirements:
  • Full Driving License (or working towards obtaining one)
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a small team
  • Passion for learning and developing new skills
  • Commitment to our values and mission
