Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer
Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Electrical Lead Engineer to support the Manufacturing function in reactive and planned maintenance and ensure high standards are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults, identifying problems on machinery, and implementing solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative, planned and reactive maintenance
- Identify and highlight potential equipment failures
- Conduct maintenance activities safely and in compliance with safety regulations
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and resolve issues to minimize downtime
- Utilize problem-solving techniques to effect repairs and resume production quickly
- Identify and implement improvements in plant and equipment
- Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Time-Served Electrical Engineering
- HNC/ ONC/ HND
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Basic IT skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
