About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour School Support Worker to join our team at a specialist primary school in Hillingdon/Ealing. As a Behaviour School Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable young people with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

Working closely with teachers, you will create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that fosters positive relationships and promotes academic success. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have a good sense of humour, great relationship-building skills, and a passion for being a positive role model for vulnerable young people. About the School

Our school is a specialist provision for students with an Educational Health Care Plan where the primary needs are SEMH difficulties. We pride ourselves on providing a family atmosphere where pupils and families feel supported. Our holistic approach to the child's learning journey ensures that every student receives the care and attention they need to thrive.

We offer a wide range of sporting events and clubs, as well as other extra-curricular activities that build social and personal skills. Our team is committed to providing a nurturing and creative environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the learning of children in the class, including individual, small, and large groups as directed.
  • Monitor, assess, and support children with social, emotional, and/or mental health difficulties, and possibly other special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective support plans.
