About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable individual to join our team as an Account Consultant. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally and contribute to the success of our sales team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Sales Opportunities: Learn to use internal systems and processes to effectively uncover prospective sales targets under the supervision of a senior colleague until fully able to work independently or jointly based on needs.
  • Develop Customer Relationships: Help execute campaigns in conjunction with Marketing to generate customer interest in ACS products and services and to educate customers and prospects on relevant messages for which ad hoc training and coaching will be provided.
  • Support Team Members: Actively work with team members to support them in their daily activities.
  • Analyze Market Trends: Help identify target audiences and develop independent plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments and an ability to recognize opportunistic sales objectives when they present is also important.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Good communication skills and a desire to make a difference, a team player but disciplined and logical so they can establish, build, and nurture positive and mutually beneficial relationships inside the organization and with customers to reach the set targets.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and as part of a small team to develop goals and objectives that have a significant impact on revenue.
  • Presentations: Good presentation skills, both virtually and in-person.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organization, multi-tasking and decision-making skills.
  • Adaptability: Adaptable and analytical – able to think creatively to identify new areas of opportunity and to overcome competitive and market threats.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate within the team to constantly develop skills and support team goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Publishing: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably within publishing.
  • Salesforce.com Training: Experience using Salesforce.com but training can be provided.
  • Additional Language Skills: Additional languages would be an advantage.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
