Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Estates team at Reed Property & Construction. This role is crucial in ensuring a high-quality building maintenance service within our facilities, covering reactive, project, and scheduled maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To provide a high standard of workmanship in maintaining the existing structure and fabric of the building on a daily basis.
  2. To work to a planned preventative maintenance system in accordance with a programme of work as directed by the Estates Manager/Chief Engineers.
  3. To provide an emergency call-out service outside normal working hours as part of the estates department shift rota.
  4. To be responsible for all tools, equipment, and uniform provided by the company.

Requirements:

  1. Training in a relevant discipline, such as City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/Mechanical or equivalent.
  2. Experience working in 1st and 2nd fix plumbing and general plumbing maintenance.
  3. A good understanding of mechanical systems.
  4. Plumbing qualifications (C&G or equivalent to level 2 or level 3).
  5. Previous experience of working in the building maintenance industry, ideally within a healthcare setting.
