We are currently working in partnership with a public sector organisation who are seeking a Childcare Lawyer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Solicitor to join our client's team as a Childcare Lawyer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience dealing with Childcare legal matters in a local authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision, covering a wide range of Childcare legal matters
- Undertake complex proceedings, including complex advocacy work
- Represent the organisation and support the delivery of legal services
- Provide strategic support to Elected Members and Directorate and Corporate teams
- Support the development and delivery of Service Level Agreements between Legal Services and internal clients
- Proactively manage risks and opportunities in the best interest of the organisation, escalating issues of concern to the Senior Lawyer and Principal Solicitor
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor / CILEX Lawyer
- Experience within local government essential
