About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Nurse Specialist to join our team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. As a key member of our neonatal unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, family-centered care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate shifts, ensuring the smooth operation of the neonatal unit.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Supervise and support junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Participate in service development and implementation of change, driving improvement and innovation in our services.
Requirements
  • Post-registration qualification in neonatal specialist area (ENB 405 or equivalent).
  • Teaching and assessing or mentorship qualification.
  • Two years clinical experience in speciality.
  • Ability to communicate in a variety of settings, including with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Basic knowledge of financial management in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to manage own workload, coordinate others, and supervise junior staff.
