Deputy Store Manager Job Description

Lidl is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in managing the store's operations, including cash processes, stock integrity, and customer service.
  • Lead and inspire the store team to achieve their full potential, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Take ownership of the store in the absence of the Store Manager, making key decisions and taking charge of the store's operations.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
