Job Overview: The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is recruiting a Children's Diabetes Care Coordinator to join their paediatric diabetes team. This role requires an individual with experience in caring for children with long-term conditions, including those with psychosocial needs. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The salary for this position is £43,041 - £57,106 per annum, and we offer a range of benefits, including flexible working hours and access to training and development opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To coordinate the delivery of paediatric diabetes care and support services across West Essex and East Hertfordshire.
  • To work closely with the wider team and multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement best practice guidelines for the care and management of children with diabetes.
  • To provide teaching and education to other colleagues within health and from other agencies on topics related to paediatric diabetes care.
