Job Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Tutor to provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with Special Educational Needs.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team and provide bespoke learning opportunities to a Year 2 student with limited communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and be able to think creatively to meet the student's needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide educational support to students with Special Educational Needs
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of students
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support
  • Be creative and patient in approach to teaching and learning

Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Two professional child-related references
  • Right to work in the UK
