The Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Tutor to provide educational support to a Year 2 student with complex needs. As a member of our team, you will be part of a collaborative effort to provide high-quality support and guidance to students who require additional assistance.

About the Role

As an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of the student. This will involve working closely with the student, their family, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of the student
  • Provide educational support and guidance to the student, including academic and social support
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, therapists, and family members, to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and report on the student's progress, making adjustments to the learning plan as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as special education or a related field
  • Experience working with students with complex needs, including those with SEND
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and other professionals
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized learning plans, and to monitor and report on student progress
