Job Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is partnering with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK to provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Tutor to provide support to a Year 2 Looked After Child (LAC). The successful candidate will have a strong background in SEN education and be able to provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of the child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide educational support to a Year 2 LAC
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the child's needs
  • Work collaboratively with the child's social worker and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support package
  • Monitor and evaluate the child's progress, making adjustments to the support plan as needed

Requirements:

  • QTS qualification and experience in SEN education
  • Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and policies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
