Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Health and Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare technology team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Federated Data Platform across NHS organisations nationwide. The successful candidate will have experience in technical platform administration, with a strong background in SaaS/cloud technologies. They will be responsible for performing technical and operational administration to maintain, support, and configure the FDP platform and associated technologies. Additionally, they will ensure adherence to IG and security protocols, continuously monitoring platform health and escalating issues as needed.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead meaningful healthcare transformation, working at the forefront of digital healthcare and shaping the future of data-driven decision-making in the NHS. The successful candidate can expect a Band 7 salary range (£46,148 - £52,809 pa), dependent on experience and the number of years worked within the NHS. They will also receive 27 days annual leave (increasing with service) plus bank holidays, access to professional development opportunities, and support for mental wellness and work-life balance.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing technical and operational administration to maintain, support, and configure the FDP platform and associated technologies.
  • Ensuring adherence to IG and security protocols, continuously monitoring platform health and escalating issues as needed.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of processes for platform administration, reporting, and monitoring.
  • Developing dashboards and reporting tools to assess platform performance, usage, and SLA/KPI compliance.
