About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Emergency Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Emergency Medicine, including paediatric emergency care.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including junior doctors, nurses, and other support staff.
  • Contribute to the development of our Emergency Department, including service improvement initiatives and quality assurance.
  • Participate in teaching and training of junior staff, including medical students and junior doctors.
  • Contribute to research and audit activities, including publication of research papers and presentations at conferences.
