About the Role:
- As a Senior Autism Diagnostic Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of ADOS/ADIR professionals, including psychologists, therapists, and other diagnostic staff.
- You will provide supervision, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Oversee scheduling, caseload management, and workflow to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure assessments and diagnoses meet the highest standards and adhere to relevant guidelines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of ADOS/ADIR professionals, providing expertise in assessment tools and methodologies.
- Conduct assessments using ADOS and ADIR where needed, applying expertise to ensure accurate and comprehensive diagnostic evaluations.
- Review and quality-check reports for accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
- Support the ongoing training and professional development of team members in ADOS/ADIR and related assessment tools.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification in psychology, psychiatry, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with ADOS and ADIR assessments, preferably within a clinical or diagnostic setting.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, motivate, and support a team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and associated diagnostic criteria.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Exeter, UK.
