About the Job

Ambler Mace is looking for a Care Coordinator to join their team in Mitcham. The successful candidate will have experience in managing care staff rosters, client schedules, and providing on-call support.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage care staff rosters, client schedules, handle new client bookings, and provide on-call support.
  2. Provide customer and staff support, act as the primary contact for clients and staff, manage incoming calls, resolve queries, and handle complaints.
  3. Lead and support the team, ensure staff training, appraisals, and compliance with policies and regulations.
  4. Collate and prepare employee timesheets for payroll.
  5. Be required to be on-call for 1 week every 4 weeks, handling out-of-hours issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the homecare or healthcare sector, ideally as a Care Coordinator or Field Care Supervisor.
  • Proficient in using rostering/scheduling systems such as Webroster and Access Care Planning.
  • Familiarity with the local area to ensure timely and effective care delivery.
  • Proactive, solution-focused, and able to handle unexpected challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to manage relationships with clients, families, and care staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and CQC requirements.
  • Flexibility to provide out-of-hours support and handle on-call duties.
  • Must have a full driving license and access to a vehicle, as the role involves traveling to various locations.

Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience. As a member of the Amber Mace team, you can expect a competitive benefits package, including additional payment for on-call duties.
