Artificial Intelligence Technical Lead
MCS Group is partnering with a cutting-edge technology company in the UK to find a skilled Artificial Intelligence Technical Lead. This innovative company has developed groundbreaking AI and Machine Learning products and partnered with leading brands to deliver state-of-the-art solutions. As the business prepares for significant growth, this role will play a key part in driving that expansion.
This is a predominantly work-from-home position, with some occasional travel to meet clients across the south of England, such as Bristol, Southampton, and London. The successful candidate must also hold security clearance.
The role will act as a bridge between the commercial and engineering teams, supporting software projects from both a technical and commercial perspective, with guidance from the Head of Technology.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with clients in the defence sector to define project requirements, working closely with technical and commercial teams to implement solutions, and driving the growth of a new AI product from both technical and business perspectives.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A technical background, preferably as a developer or software engineer with experience in Python.
Experience working on AI or Machine Learning projects, including LLM and GPT AI projects.
Strong communication skills and a background in consultancy.
Experience working in the defence sector or delivering software in government and/or public sector environments.
Flexibility to travel and work directly with UK customers on occasion.
Salary and benefits package are highly competitive, with a generous annual leave entitlement (50+ days per year).
Confidentiality is assured, and we encourage you to contact Chris Busby, Associate Director IT Recruitment, at MCS Group to discuss this opportunity further.
