Job Title: Senior Stock Controller

Location: Salford, Greater Manchester

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Stock Controller to join our team at 99 K LTD in Salford. As a key member of our fashion-wear company, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and tracking of products within our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage in-coming shipments and ensure accurate inventory records
  • Organize delivery schedules and invoicing to meet business needs
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records
  • Generate reports on stock levels, order status, and inventory performance for management review
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of incoming stock
  • Monitor inventory turnover rates and take proactive measures to address slow-moving or obsolete items

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience in stock control and inventory management
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with Sales & Account Management, Finance, and Merchandising
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Driving licence for small van
